Emma Lou Clark, 88, of Milolii died Oct. 18 at her residence. Born in Mexico, she was a housewife. No services. She is survived by sons, Danny (Janet) Raquinio of King City, Calif., Ray (Linda) Raquinio and Roy (Rennata) Raquinio, all of Ocean View, and John (Nora) Oldenkamp of Santa Cruz, Calif.; daughter, Diana (Steve) Hylegund of Fremont, Calif.; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Frank Efram, 65, of Waikoloa died Nov. 17 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Ujelang, Marshall Islands, he was a Marshallese government high chief. George Gines, 74, of Keaau died Oct. 28 at Pohai Malama. Lorrin Keala Henry, 83, of Hilo died Nov. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired fire dispatcher for the Hawaii County Fire Department; a former employee for the Hawaii County Department of Motor Vehicle Registration and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Hilo Jaycees, Hilo Bowling Club and St. Joseph Catholic Church He also played basketball with the firefighters and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Brennan “Kai” Kailani Kaneshiro, 45, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Hilo, died Nov. 23 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a sushi chef, artist, musician and formerly worked in the printing industry. Rodney Mitsushi Kawamura, 72, of Hilo died Nov. 12 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Olaa, he was a civil engineer, surveyor and owner of Hilo Engineering Inc. Private family services held. Edna Takeko Maeda, 82, of Hilo, died Nov. 28. in Hilo. Born in Honolulu, she was a housewife and member of the Waiakea Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
